free computer system check games
Computer lockup, tried almost everything?
My computer would lock up weirdly. First it would lock up some applications, then it would lock up the start menu, then the desktop, then finally my mouse.
I have tried almost everything from restoring my computer to an earlier time to check/fix errors on my HDD. I disabled all my programs. Nothing seems to work and im kind of running out of hope.
My system is a self built gaming pc running on XP, it has amd anthlon dual core 2.3gh, 4 gb of ram, 320hdd with 181gb free space.

Have you tried full system scanning your computer for any malicious files? I first thought it was a motherboard problem since you said that your mouse locks up. But if it locks up in the UI, then it might be a virus. Not really sure what the problem is but I recommend you to scan your system if you haven’t already.
